Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIA/SD) is a non-profit trade association of companies dedicated to the support and promotion of the San Diego printing and graphic arts industry.

How do we do that?

By providing information, education and resources – like meetings and seminars for salespeople to estimators, group health insurance for employees, wage surveys, regulatory information (air quality, sales tax, legislation, etc.), employee relations guidelines, group buying programs, and San Diego Print Week (in February) that promotes the industry.

When you join PIA/SD, your company also becomes a member of Printing Industries of America (PIA) and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF), the world's largest graphic arts trade association. PIA/GATF provides members with the management, marketing, financial and technical information they need to operate their firms more profitably. Membership also includes membership in Printing Industries of California (PIC), the state organization that represents you before state legislative and regulatory bodies and provides information and resources to help you comply in these arenas.

PIA/SD offers endless opportunities to exchange ideas, experiences and solutions to shared problems. At the same time, you will be learning from some of the most respected instructors and leaders in our industry. Print Week
At the Print Week Trade Show, held every February at the San Diego Convention Center, you can see the latest offerings of the San Diego printing industry, from paper and software to prepress, printing and finishing services. A variety of seminars provide information, education, tips and techniques to make your job easier.
