Using the Ratios to Improve Profitability: Webinar

The Ratios are the printing industry benchmark for financial performance. They not only provide hundreds of detailed, accurate, and current industry financial metrics but also break down the information for all printers and profit leaders by printing process, firm size, market segment and geographic region. By comparing your firm with industry profit leaders and finding the expense line items that are “out of bounds” you can determine what needs fixed and how to fix it.
First-time users typically get a big “eye opener” from the Ratios. They are usually pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to provide the data—either on-line or by filling out the form. In many cases they learn a lot about how to organize and classify their expenses from the Ratios chart of accounts. Most of all they find many ways to increase their bottom-line.

Business Transformation Workshop- Unsquaring the Wheel

Transforming a business involves much more than bolting a handful of new services onto an existing business model. Any transformation affects every facet of the business enterprise. That makes the process complex, difficult to begin and difficult to navigate.
Assessing the current situation is difficult even though a clear understanding is essential. Unfortunately, too many “silver bullets” have been offered that aren’t comprehensive, cannot be easily implemented or sustained, and which are insufficient to change the future of the business.
The “Unsquaring” project is designed to cut through that complexity, to create a set of resources to enable companies to push their transformation processes forward. The project has two primary objectives:
The Unsquaring model is not “one size fits all” or “one action does all.” The core of the Unsquaring process is a multi-faceted assessment instrument which enables owners and executives to create a clear picture of their enterprise on nine key vectors. The process will provide a clear picture of where you are now, what aspects of the enterprise are most “out of balance”, next steps, a method to measure progress, and a means to communicate all of that effectively. It is a transformation model that’s succinct and comprehensive, scalable and practical.
This one-day workshop will introduce the model, assess each participant’s company, and provide a detailed overview of how this is implemented, phase-by-phase. Each participant will leave with a clear picture of their company’s status, progress, and gaps.
