Having just wrapped up its 22nd successful year, Print Week
has
become a landmark event in the San Diego
graphic arts community. No other show
in
San Diego brings printers, designers, and
print buyers together. This year’s
theme
of Gr82b Green took print enthusiasts to a new, sustainable, level.
Print Week was THE event
to feed your
need to be green and recycle that love for
paper, printing, prepress,
finishing, and
software in San Diego.
“Awesome job with the event.” - Eric Frank, KBA North America, Inc.
"Great job on the show ---- I think it was very successful." - David Pauley,
Neyenesch Printers
Print Week offered two exclusive tours to kick off
the week. Once again, we hosted our popular San Diego Union Tribune Tour, as
well as the U.S. Post Office Tour. With about 30 in
attendance at each tour, attendees got the insider’s edge on the developing
trends in printing & mailing.
Union-Tribune attendees learn what goes into producing the city's largest
newspaper.
The Union-Tribune Tour included an up-close look of the massive presses that
run on a daily basis.
USPS Tour attendees got a look at the automation system to see how direct mail pieces
are processed.
USPS Tour attendees gather to learn about how to prepare mail pieces properly in order to avoid delayed transit.
With
an impressive line up of print, design and marketing topics, our seminars have
become a popular Print Week tradition! Print Week seminars provide a unique opportunity
to hear some of the industry’s leading authorities.
Attendees gain insight, ideas and techniques to help master their skills and
style! Seminars are held every year, just down the hall from the trade show.
"Today, we formally applied your many Styles tips for a magazine we produce using InDesign. We cannot express enough how the changes will increase our productivity. We have attended many seminars at PIA for the past 20+ years, but we have never before brought back so many invaluable and applicable tips. Bravo!"
- Jennifer Buckner, Carol Kerr Graphic Design
